Since I was a kid, creating and telling stories has been something I have loved doing. Whether it be through writing, drawing, or photography and filmmaking, there has always been a need for a creative outlet. Now that I am pursuing a career in filmmaking, I hope I will be able to create and tell the stories that need to be told.

Filmmaking has allowed me to explore new ways to physically bring to life the crazy ideas in my head. It has shown me ways to bring to light themes and issues important to me. Outside of filmmaking, I am a photographer. It has been a hobby of mine for a number of years and I really enjoy doing it. I primarily use digital cameras but recently I have found a love for analog film photography. Along with this, I consider myself a digital artist since I work a lot in Photoshop and Lightroom. Photography was my bridge to filmmaking and I bring a lot of what I have learned through it to the productions I work on. 

I have successfully received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production at York University and have already begun gaining a lot of experience on set. I have directed a few independent short films and worked as an editor and cinematographer on student films.  My hope is to specialize in the editing field after school.
